Esther is the talent behind these wonderful stars that have endless possibilities with color and design. I had a very hard time deciding what fabric to use and which direction to take them.
Each block measures 10.5 unfinished and each PDF contains several color ideas/options, a coloring page and of course the pattern itself. Her information is pretty straight forward and easy to follow for anyone who has paper pieced before. Please note that this is an intermediate pattern and there are no directions on how to paper piece for beginners. But please don't let that stop you ! :) Once you have gotten the hang of this fun quilting technique, they are easy to follow and simple to make. A must have for anyone that loves to paper piece!
To purchase these patterns, go to Craftsy, here and here. You can also try out her Freedom Star pattern for free here.
I also joined a new quilt along over at Gen X Quilters. The Sisters' Ten BOM started back in January but I had to wait for my fabric to come before I could start but I'm happily caught up now :) I chose to use "Chicopee" by Denyse Schmidt in the Push Pop colorway and paired it with some Yarn-Dyed Essex in Black. I love it!! Here are my blocks so far:
Thanks for stopping by!
